- "Fats Malloy - a former owner of this mansion - loved that flask. Prohibition made him rich, but this house... unmade him."
- — S.A.M
"Fats" Malloy is a character featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies mode.
Biography[]
"Fats" Malloy was a bootlegger and one of the known owners of the Libert Falls mansion.
Malloy built a secret distillery beneath the mansion and began manufacturing his own moonshine. When the Prohibition began, Malloy became extremely rich, often giving out payoffs to the mayor and Sheriff of Liberty Falls. However, his empire soon fell, as Malloy was shot by Federal agents during a party at the mansion in 1923. Somehow, Malloy's spirit was transported into a liminal space inside the mansion where he was trapped in a loop, constantly searching for the hip flask.
The mansion had several owners afterwards until Edward Richtofen and Project Janus used it as a research facility to house S.A.M in the late 1980s. When the ex-Requiem arrived at the mansion on February 28th, 1991, they retrieved the metal hip flask to free Malloy's spirit and empower the Sentinel Artifact with the Prima Materia contained in the liminal space.
Trivia[]
- The fate of Malloy is unclear as S.A.M states he vanished and has been missing since 1923, while the "Thesis Statement" intel states that he was "shot up by the feds".
- The dialogue during the ritual in the Liminal Distillery also hints at Malloy being poisoned.
