The 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment was an American parachute regiment that was attached to the 101st Airborne Division and served during World War II.

In Call of Duty and Call of Duty: United Offensive, the player plays as Pvt. Martin, and Cpl. Scott Riley respectively. They fight alongside Sgt. Moody and Cpt. Foley respectively, and many other brave soldiers. 506th has four companies so far that have appeared in the Call of Duty games; and they are:
