The 6th Airborne Division was an Airborne division in the British Army during World War II. They are easily identified by the Pegasus on their shoulder patch. They took part in Operation Tonga, the airborne landings on the left flank of the invasion beaches in the Normandy Landings. It played a small part in the Battle of the Bulge and was involved in Operation Varsity, the Allied assault across the Rhine river.

In the Original Call of Duty game, the player takes the role of a British Soldier, Sgt. Evans, who at first starts out as a member of the 6th Airborne Division; dropping behind enemy lines the night before D-Day to secure Pegasus Bridge on the Caen Canal. He then manages to survive the initial proceeding counterattack and defend the bridge. As a result, he and his superior officer, Cpt. Price, gets reassigned to the Special Air Service.
Call of Duty: World at War: Final Fronts
In Call of Duty: World at War: Final Fronts, Pvt. Tom Sharpe is part of this Division. This division took part in the levels: "The Relief of Bastogne", "The Battle of Bure", and "The Rhine".
