The 75th Ranger Regiment is a military formation of the United States Army that makes up the U.S. Army Rangers. It is composed of five battalions which each trace their lineages back to WWII units. The 75th Ranger Regiment was stood up in 1986 and is one of the factions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the regiment was stationed at Fire Base Phoenix where they trained new recruits such as Private Joseph Allen along with soldiers in Afghan National Army.
