The Rheinmatall 9-Bang grenade is a throwable device in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The device is similar to the flashbang from previous Modern Warfare titles; however, after the first explosion, another eight occur in fast succession, hence the name "9-Bang." It is only used by Delta Force during the campaign. Their first appearance is in the mission "Black Tuesday", where Sandman orders the player to use them on multiple occasions.
