The 9-Bang grenade is a device scheduled to appear in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The device is similar to the Flashbang from previous Modern Warfare titles; however, after the first explosion, another eight occur in fast succession, hence the name. Not much else is known at this point.

Trivia

• The 9-Bang also appears to have a side effect of concussion-based force - several NPCs appear to be hit by a force similar to that off an explosion, though the effect noticed is miniscule.
