The AC-130 Gunner is an unnamed crew member of the United States Air Force AC-130 "Warhammer" in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The AC-130 Gunner was assigned to assist and protect Delta Force, Team Metal and GIGN from the Ultranationalists invading Paris. Codename: Warhammer was providing air support as they searched the streets of Paris for Volk.

In "Bag and Drag", Frost tossed purple smoke grenades to mark targets for the AC-130 to destroy in order to make way for Team Metal and the GIGN to enter the catacombs in search for Volk. The aircraft would later bingo fuel as the men on the ground entered the sewers.

In "Iron Lady", the player takes control of the Gunner for about half of the mission, destroying targets and clearing a way for Metal to move through the streets of Paris to extract Volk. After demolishing a corner building, they come under fire from Russian MiGs and pull off for about five minutes before recircling and resuming air support. Metal eventually links up with Uniform 6-2's Humvee convoy to extract Volk out of Paris in a vehicle chase through the damaged city. Warhammer follows suit, providing air cover until the Humvees get stuck on the bridge in front of the Eiffel Tower. As the player resumes the role of Frost, he continues calling targets for the AC-130 Gunner via smoke grenades, and eventually the aircraft bingos fuel and returns to base. Team Metal successfully holds off hostiles until a bomb run destroys the rest of the enemy armor. Helicopters then approach the LZ to extract Team Metal and Volk for interrogation.
