Call of Duty: Modern Warfare[]

"Equipped with a 6x6 drivetrain and the ability to haul up to 6 soldiers across the battlefield. This Armored Personnel Carrier comes with a 25mm cannon firing explosive rounds. Rapid availability to replenish troops in an ever-evolving ground war makes this vehicle the tactical choice for taking your objective."
— In-game description

The APC returns returns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It is available for use in Multiplayer in the Ground War mode.

In singleplayer, the APC is used by Barkov's Forces. In Embedded and Proxy War it is seen with an autocannon, in Highway of Death it is seen as an unarmed transport with a smoke grenade launcher, the player must shoot out the wheels before they can deploy troops.

This 6-seat APC serves as a mobile spawn point for the entire team if it has more than 50% health. Its firepower is weaker than that of the Infantry Assault Vehicle, featuring only one turreted autocannon with 14 shots per reload. As a result, it is recommended that one only use it as a spawn point on big maps: just drive it to a defendable but hidden spot somewhere close to the enemy base, so that your 32 teammates can spawn in and hit the enemy in the rear.
