The APS Underwater Rifle is a weapon appearing as an assault rifle in Call of Duty: Ghosts and as a submachine gun in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
Call of Duty: Ghosts[]
The APS Underwater Rifle is available exclusively to the campaign and appears in the missions "Atlas Falls" and "Into the Deep", being used by Logan Walker, Keegan P. Russ, Thomas A. Merrick and Kick. Unlike other guns, the bullets will take time to hit their targets, rather than hitting them instantly, due to water slowing the bullets down. They will also leave a trail of bubbles.

The APS Underwater Rifle returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as the UGR, now under in the submachine guns class. It was added on the May 6th, 2022 update.[1]

The UGR can be brought into any map via Create-A-Class, at Loadout rarity. When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch Machine, it becomes the Bufotoxin, garnering increased stats.
