Aachen was the first major town captured by the Americans in Nazi Germany during World War II in the Battle of Aachen. It is featured in Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Call of Duty: WWII.

In Call of Duty: Finest Hour, the player fought in Aachen as Sergeant Chuck Walker. It was the site of the Battle of Aachen. This map had two easter eggs in it; the ghostly room and the German dance party in the level "Underground Passage".
