Abomination Challenge is a limited-time Zombies game mode featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It was added as part of the Season Four Reloaded update.
Overview[]
In Abomination Challenge, players will drop into a cel-shaded version of Liberty Falls and try to defeat an ultra powered-up version of an Abomination, known as Mo. Mo spawns into the map when the players first open the Dark Aether Church. It features unique abilities causing it to be a dangerously strong HVT, including: a massive amount of health, much stronger attacks, the ability to become immune from sustained damage from the same source, and the ability to knock all of the players' Perk-a-Colas into the ground by charging at them.
In this mode, zombies spawn at a rate similar to when the Rampage Inducer is enabled in Standard modes. The mode uses a rule set similar to Zombie Snacks, where achieving a kill streak of 10 zombies will activate Flow Mode, increasing player damage and movement speed; however, player health does not decrease with regular movement, though health regen is still disabled, requiring players to pick up snacks or consume GobbleGums and Perks to replenish health. Players are also restricted from completing the Bye-Bye, Dark Aether Main Quest, using the Idle Eyes GobbleGum and the Rampage Inducer. Additionally, this mode features other Special and Elite Zombie types typically not seen in Liberty Falls, including: the Amalgam, the Doppelghast, the Shock Mimic, the Elder Disciple, and the Toxic Zombie.
Defeating Mo grants the players the following reward: an Ultra "Hidden Power" GobbleGum, 15000 XP, and a completion calling card. After defeating Mo, players can continue playing the match like normal, or exfil to earn additional standard rewards.
