Accessories (or Weapon Charms) are a feature introduced in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and were added to Call of Duty: WWII after the Division Overhaul. They were added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 with the release of Operation Spectre Rising, and featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at launch. They are cosmetic tags that hang from the user's weapons, and do not change the stats or damage.
Call of Duty: Infinite WarfareEdit
Accessories are unlocked via Mission Teams, through in-game purchases, Supply Drops, and through Weapon Prestige. Additionally, one accessory was also available from the 12 Days of Winter event, the Snowballs accessory.
Weapon Prestige Accessories Edit
- The Dog Tags accessory is unlocked at Weapon Prestige 1.
- The D.O.A accessory is unlocked at Weapon Prestige 2.
- The Demon Skull accessory is unlocked at Weapon Prestige MAX.
Call of Duty: WWIIEdit
Accessories return in Call of Duty: WWII as weapon charms. New weapon charms are added to the game with post-The Resistance major special event updates, replacing Pistol Grips. They can be acquired from opening supply drops and specific charms can be directly purchased from Collections. All weapon charms can be hanged from any weapons of the primary classes.
Call of Duty: Modern WarfareEdit
Accessories appear in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Weapon Charms once again. Charms can be unlocked through challenges, special promotions, the ingame Store, or in the Battle Pass. Charms can be equipped on most weapons, excluding launchers and melee weapons.
