Aether Worms are a type of enemy featured in the Zombies experience Operation Deadbolt in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Aether Worms appear as Boss enemies in Story Missions, as well as a specific quest within Zaravan. Aether Worms have two main attacks, they can shoot powerful laser beams from their mouth, and they can throw players into the air to swallow them before spitting them out onto the ground causing the players to go down immediately. While Aether Worms are mostly stationnary, they can burrow into the ground and move around the area. They possess several weakspots which appear as glowing sections along their body.

- While an Aether Worm is underground, the players can stand still and throw equipments as diversion to attract the Worm away from them.
- Quickly opening the parachute after being spitted out can prevent getting down.
- A statue of an Aether Worm can be seen at the center of the Serpent Mound room in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 map Shattered Veil.
