Changes: Afghan National Army

The Afghan National Army or ANA is featured briefly in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as an allied faction of the U.S. Army Rangers and in Call of Duty: Strike Team. In Modern Warfare 2, their personnel are seen at the very beginning of the campaign being trained by Sergeant Foley and PFC Joseph Allen in "S.S.D.D.", and are also seen in the following mission, "Team Player", helping General Shepherd and the Army U.S. Army Rangers fight the OpFor.

There is an ANA soldier in the player's HMMWV after the bridge layer is finished and the player boards the vehicle. The ANA soldier disappears after the player's Humvee is destroyed.
There is an ANA soldier in "Team Player" that is eating chocolate and taking cover; he will later board a random vehicle.
Rarely, one of the ANA soldiers will use an M240 machine gun.
One of the Rangers' conversations in "S.S.D.D." mentions how some of the ANA trainees "show up in track suits, expecting to shoot stuff".
They will commonly use either M16A4s, with either stock iron sights or an ACOG scope, or M4A1s, with or without an M203 grenade launcher.
Occasionally, some of them use the M4A1 w/ Holographic Sight, though this is rare.
Some of their head models and their body armour is shared with the Opfor
