Alden Dorne is a character featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. He is the acting CEO of The Guild following the capture of Emma Kagan and the main antagonist of Endgame.
Dorne was released as a playable Operator of The Guild faction in Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 on December 4th, 2025 with Season One as part of the Battle Pass.
Biography[]
Alden Dorne is the right-hand man of The Guild CEO Emma Kagan. He was first seen reporting to Kagan about JSOC team Specter One infiltrating one of their facilities. Dorne was not directly involved in Guild operations concerning JSOC until Kagan was captured by Specter One at the Blackheart mining rig. Following this, Dorne became acting CEO of the Guild and began mobilizing their forces to seize control of Avalon in Kagan's stead.
The New Leader[]
Throughout Specter One's efforts in removing the Guild from Avalon, Dorne would occasionally interrupt their transmissions, taunting them and downplaying their success, while claiming the Guild would crush them, or he would simply insult them instead. At one point, Dorne led an attack on a JSOC facility and broke the Guild's bioengineer Gideon Falkner out of containment, allowing the latter to retreat to an island base near Avalon where he can begin unleashing more Cradle into the city. However, Falkner was killed by Specter One and the Cradle threat was stopped entirely, forcing Dorne to move Guild forces out of Avalon. Colonel Troy Marshall and JSOC operative Chloe "Karma" Lynch later tasked Specter One with finding out where the Guild was moving to next, noting that Dorne was more akin to "a rabid dog on the loose", in contrast to Kagan's precise and calculated operating style. David agreed that Dorne had to be put down permanently.
Power Move[]
On July 18th, 2035, Dorne intercepted a JSOC prison transport convoy that was moving Kagan through Tokyo, Japan. After causing the transport to crash, Dorne killed all surviving crew members of the convoy, then had two G-R Units help Kagan out of the debris. However, David arrived to confront them, which Dorne anticipated. To David's shock, however, Dorne executed Kagan with a headshot, proclaiming that he was there for David instead. Dorne then used a device to disrupt David's C-Link, incapacitating him and putting him in a trance, while claiming that David's mind now belonged to him.
A day later, on July 19th, 2035, David awakened in the Project Synapse Headquarters in South Australia, where Dorne introduced him to the facility.

Trivia[]
- Dorne appears in the Multiplayer Training Course, giving players tutorials and instructions on various game mechanics.
- When enabling subtitles, however, Dorne's name is written as "Voss". "voss" is also the internal codename used for Dorne's Operator character and his skins.
- Dorne is the announcer for The Guild faction in Multiplayer, in addition to being an Operator himself.
- When picking a downed player back up, one of Dorne's many voice lines is "We didn't train you to quit.", indicating that Guild soldiers receive special training paid by the organization itself, even if some of them already have prior military training.
- Dorne's HUD icon in Endgame indicates that he had installed cybernetic implants on the left side of his head sometime after the events of the Campaign. However, as seen in the Season One intro, he does not have such implants installed.
