Alexi (Russian: Алексей) is a character featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Biography[]
He is a member of the Inner Circle, Makarov's terrorist cell of the Ultranationalist Party and appears to be a high-ranking officer. Alexi appears in the mission "Stronghold", operating in the control room of the fortress and overseeing its management.
He has a brief conversation with Vladimir Makarov over a video conference concerning the location of Alena Vorshevsky, confirming he's dispatched some of their men to capture her in order to make President Vorshevsky surrender Russia's nuclear launch codes. Shortly afterwards, John Price and Yuri cease their stealth approach to the infiltration, and Price proceeds to toss a frag grenade into the control room before dropping several floors. The grenade detonated, killing Alexi and his men before they could escape as well as providing a sufficient if temporary distraction for Price and Yuri to flee.
