The Allegiance is a multinational alliance featured in the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. They are mainly made up of Spetsnaz operators, Russian, African and American mercenaries as well as Serbia's Special Anti-Terrorist Unit, Urzikstan's Special Service Group and Urzikstan Liberation Force fighters. Allegiance is divided into four subfactions; Spetsnaz, Jackals, Chimera, and Shadow Company.
The Allegiance's Intelligence branch is the Allegiance Department of Intelligence, which handles operator case files, after action reports, and other pieces of intelligence operators may find during Special Operations.

- Jackals - African private military company founded by Zane, members consist of African and Middle Eastern mercenaries, as well as ex-U.S. Army personnel.
- Chimera - Russian private military company under the leadership of Nikolai, consisting of mercenaries recruited from Eastern Europe, NATO countries and Urzikstan.
- Shadow Company - American private military company deployed in Verdansk in response to the fall of Armistice, loosely aligning itself with Allegiance.
