The Republic of Angola is a country seen during the 1980s flashbacks of the Call of Duty: Black Ops II campaign.
The mission "Pyrrhic Victory" is set in Cunene Province, Angola, during the Angolan Civil War. In this mission, Alex Mason and Jason Hudson must aid Jonas Savimbi and his UNITA forces in repelling an MPLA attack, in exchange for information on the whereabouts of Frank Woods. This is the only time Angola is seen in the campaign.
Angola also features as the setting of the Zombies map "Buried". Angola houses The Rift, a huge hole in the Earth caused by the missiles launched from Moon.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Angola is part of the Common Defense Pact.
Angola is featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in the Multiplayer map Satellite.
