The Angola Civil War was a military conflict in southern Africa that lasted from 1975 - 2002. It is the featured in the first campaign mission, "Pyrrhic Victory," for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, where Alex Mason and Jason Hudson, with the aid of Jonas Savimbi, must rescue Frank Woods and capture Raul Menendez.
