The Apollo's Will is a buildable Wonder Weapon and shield featured in the Zombies map Ancient Evil from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The Apollo's Will is a bronze Hoplite shield paired with a throwable spear.
Overview[]
The Shield is a buildable that cane be constructed in the Marketplace, an area just behind the spawn room in the Temple of Apollo. All the parts can be obtained before traveling to Pack-a-Punch, meaning the Shield can be obtained early on in a run.
The shield has three main attacks, a bash and the spear. Simply pulling the fire trigger will throw a spear forward, the spear will explode upon impact, and players can throw 15 spears. The explosion is decently powerful, reliably killing Zombies into round 20 and higher. Players can also aim down sights with the Apollo's Will to get a more accurate throw.
By using Melee with Apollo's Will, players will stab the spear forward, attacking an individual target in front of them. The stab is similarly powerful to the throw, but using it will cause damage to the Apollo's Will.
While there is no permanent upgrade available for Apollo's Will, the spear can be ignited at the Eternal Flame, after completing two Challenges for the Oracle. Whilst alight, it will deal fire damage once before needing to be reignited. This damage can be done either via a throw or a stab. While the spear is on fire, the Apollo's Will will slowly take damage and can be destroyed if the flame is not used.
The final attack is a traditional shield bash that can be achieved by aiming down sights with the Apollo's Will and then using the players melee. The bash can hit multiple targets, and the damage difference between it and the spear is negligible, but each successful hit damages the Apollo's Will and target have to be in significantly close range to use properly.
As with all shields, the Apollo's Will will protect players from all damage from behind when not in use or from the front when held, at the cost of damage to, and eventual destruction of, the shield itself.

Like previous shields, the player must find three parts in order to craft the shield.
Part 1 (Handle)[]
Handle icon.
- On the Upper Road, on a rock before the bridge.
- On the Upper Road, on a rock under the bridge.
- On the Upper Road, on a rock after the bridge.
Part 2 (Spear)[]
Spear icon.
- In the Intersection of Treasuries, against a statue.
- In the Intersection of Treasuries, stuck in a low wall.
- In the Stoa of the Athenians, against a pillar.
Part 3 (Shield)[]
Shield icon.
- The shield can be obtained after killing the Gegenees that spawns after retrieving the Golden Bridle of Pegasus.
Once all three parts have been collected, the player can assemble it at a worktable in the back of the Marketplace.
