Area 99/Infrastructure

Area 99 is a CIA-backed research and testing facility by the Advanced Technologies and Applications located in the state of Nevada in the United States of America, featuring a desert landscape with main roadways for one to traverse, or various underground networks, allowing access to every unique point of interest.

Area 99 is divided into ten main points of interests with each zone divided into several landmarks in the region.

Mannequin Assembly

A large scale mannequin assembly plant, this point of interest dominates the furthest northern part of Area 99. To traverse to each of the assembly units, is to take the skybridge located within the complex.

Cooling Towers

The main pivot away from the Mannequin Assembly, there are three Cooling Towers that allow for easy access to the nearby trenches and a walkway towards the Reactor.

Test Site

This test site is used by the Advanced Technologies and Applications, featuring destroyed vehicles and containers with a nice surface testing viewing station.

Bunker

Underneath the Test Site sits a small bunker, featuring a maze of hallways towards a War Room.

Reactor

At the center of Area 99 is the Reactor, the main source of experimental weaponry developed by the Advanced Technologies and Application.

Curving from the main entrance is the North Hall Hydro Pump.

Mirroring the North Hall is the East Hall, featuring the most direct route to the Reactor.

Located at the center of Area 99 is the Reactor Room featuring perfect access to the East and North Halls.

Surrounding the Reactor is the Thermal Energy Storage, the largest multi-level building within this zone.

The smaller building of the bunch, this Research Station allows for easy access to the various rooftops.

Another vertical building surrounding the Reactor, this Motor Pool allows for transition to the Cooling Towers or Nuketown Shipping.

Set up between the Colling Towers and Reactor is a mirrored version of the first Research Station.

Nuketown Shipping

Partially given back to the desert, sitting at lower elevation to the rest of Area 99 is Nuketown Shipping, seven buildings complete with look alike models of the Nevada testing site.

Pods

The Pods were a set of four colored pod shaped buildings that rested the many Area 99 employees and workers. Now the Pods sit abandoned with their own individual stories.

Manufacturing

Featuring the single largest surface area, the Manufacturing Plant develops the Nuketown housing seen in the Nevada nuclear testing sites.

Warehouse

Located in the southern most part of the map is the Warehouse, featuring many access points to the rooftop and functioning as a great stronghold.

Loading Bay

At the furthest east region of the map is the Loading Bay, featuring two Nuketown houses, with one being elevated via a crane. This zone is located nearby the Manufacturing Plant.
