Arm-4 was a team under Armistice, the multi-country task force charged with defeating Al-Qatala in Verdansk that was featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Overview[]
Arm-4 was the main playable faction within Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Operations (Special Ops) mode and was formed in response to Al-Qatala's Invasion of Verdansk by Khaled Al-Asad. Command and intel was provided jointly by Kate Laswell of the CIA and Kamarov of the FSB. Efforts were focused on four key players who were providing support for Al-Qatala in Verdansk: Almalik, El Traficante, The Banker, and "Mr. Z" (Victor Zakhaev). Each played a key role in Al-Qatala's materiel supplies, transportation, finances, and weapons (through Zakhaev Arms). Arm-4 conducted a number of raids against each to disrupt their operations.

The operations conducted by Arm-4 were successful and dealt serious blows to Al-Qatala forces in the region. Of their targets, Almalik was killed in the airstrike on his warehouses; El Traficante may have escaped or may have been shot down in the helicopter he was escaping in; and The Banker may have escaped or may have been killed directly by small arms fire or by destroying the helicopter he was fleeing in. Of the four, only "Mr. Z" (Victor Zakhaev) definitively survived.
However, despite their successes, Zakhaev's release of chlorine gas surrounding Verdansk proved catastrophic to Armistice as suspicion and infighting soon broke out amongst the task force members. Arm-4 was likely disbanded alongside Armistice itself.
