For the modern and older variant, see BTR-80 and BTR-40.

The BTR-60 is an 8 wheeled Soviet Armored Personnel Carrier that appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

In Game[]

In Call of Duty: Black Ops, the BTR-60 appears in the levels "Operation 40", and "Rebirth". During the level "Operation 40", the BTR appears used by the Tropas as Alex Mason escapes from Castro's mansion, but it is easily destroyed by a single RPG. During the level "Rebirth", the BTR is used by the CIA forces assaulting the island, and can be used to great effect against the enemy infantry, UAZ-469s, trucks, and a Mi-8, but it is destroyed by another Mi-8 gunship. The BTR is armed with 2 heavy machine guns and a AGS-30 grenade launcher.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II[]

Several BTR-60s are seen in the Russian assault at the Mujahideen hideout in the campaign mission "Old Wounds". Also, they are briefly seen in mission Fallen Angel, while the player spies on Menendez. During the Strike-Force Mission I.E.D, at least two enemy BTRs are spotted along the convoy which the player then has to take out with either multiple quad-drones or an ASD rocket.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War[]

BTR-60s appear in "Fracture Jaw" when the Vietcong attack Firebase Ripcord. Some BTR-60s with NVA markings can be found outside the Russian base in Redlight, Greenlight implying the Russian were arming the Vietnamese.
