The Baseball Bat is a melee weapon featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: WWII and Call of Duty: Mobile, and making a brief appearance in Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIEdit

Baseball bats are used by Batallón Dignidad members against the player in the campaign mission "Suffer With Me".

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIIEdit

"Lethal sporting equipment. Swing for the fences to send your enemies just a bit outside."
— In-game description

The baseball bat, referred to as MVP, has been added in the March 21, 2016 update, and is statistically similar to the other melee weapons. Upon getting a kill with the MVP, the sound of audience cheering can be heard, and when pressing the reload button the player will make a pointing gesture (similarly to Babe Ruth).

Call of Duty: WWIIEdit

The Baseball bat was added to Call of Duty: WWII with the Blitzkrieg event on April 17th, 2018. Initially, it appeared as one of the eight melee weapons available in the Nazi Zombies map The Shadowed Throne, having the same appearance as its "Triple" variant from multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4Edit

A baseball bat is used in the backstory video of the specialist Kerk "Ajax" Rossouw. It is also used by Russman in the intro cutscene to Tag Der Toten

Call of Duty: MobileEdit

The Baseball Bat was added to Call of Duty: Mobile as a part of the Season 3 update.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIIEdit

  • "Wild Fury" and tally marks can be seen inscribed on the MVP.
  • It is possible to hit grenades with the MVP[1].
