Private First Class Ronald "Red" Daniels regrouped with his officer to take out the enemy sniper inside a tall bunker. Soon the infantrymen captured the mill from the German Wehrmacht and elite Waffen-SS troops. Turner's squad immediately push up to the hill after realizing Technical Sergeant William Pierson have already launched an assault with his squad. Private Parker of the Engineer Corps was escorted with suppressive fire to destroy the pillbox on the hill, although the pillbox was successfully destroyed, he killed himself due to premature detonation of his Pole Charge. Private Daniels continued to sabotage German howitzers and encountered a German Tiger II tank led by an unnamed Tank Commander of the Waffen-SS. The tank was soon disabled by several thermite grenades. A M4 Sherman tank led by Staff Sergeant Augustine Perez tried to penetrate the Tiger's armor but failed. Lieutenant Turner saved Private Daniels from the enemy survivors of the destroyed tank but was shot to the back by the commander.
