Oberst Baumann is a character in Call of Duty: WWII. He is an officer wearing grey uniform in the garrison. The player assumes control of Camille "Rousseau" Denis and can interact with him, asking him where Karl Fischer and the basement is, or telling him the code phrase "Verlaine". If the player tells him the code phrase, he will ask Rousseau to give him the ID papers and ask her where she was from initially. If she responds "Berlin" instead of "Hamburg", she will be arrested, and the player will see a game over screen. He is later killed by the French Resistance when they entered the garrison after Rousseau blow up the entrances.
