"When someone threatens everything you love, you have a choice. Will you bend and kneel or will you rise and stand? Beatrice Mercier made her choice the day she saw her people suffer. Because to live a life of fear is no life at all."
Born in 1919, Beatrice Mercier started her career as a teacher. When her fiance and her students were jailed by the Nazis during a mass arrest of Jewish families, Mercier joined the French Resistance.
She later took part in the liberation of Paris and was eventually reunited with her fiance.

Beatrice's skins "Chevalier", "Grand-Croix", and "Grand-Maître" are all named after classes of the French Legion of Honour.
Beatrice's "White Plague" skin was originally erroneously labeled the "White Mirage" skin for Anna Drake, and was granted to players who reached Tier 100 of the Season TwoBattle Pass, instead of the advertised skin. Following a fix, players who received the wrong skin between February 14th-February 21st, 2022 were given both skins for free.
Beatrice's "Scavenge Warmth" skin in Warzone features a teal-colored beanie, which isn't present on the keyart and the Vanguard version.
