Sergeant Benny Church was an American soldier in Able Company, 1st Infantry Division, under the command of Lt. Walker. He appears solely to Call of Duty: Finest Hour.

Biography

Sergeant Benny Church leads the assault team under the command of Walker. He is a friend of Lt. Walker, who is also his commander. Benny was given a battlefield promotion to Sergeant along with Walker being promoted to Lieutenant after the battle of Aachen.

He also took part in Operation Torch in North Africa, invaded Sicily and Normandy Route N13, and fought at Aachen, Stavelot and Remagen.

Trivia

  • For some reason, Benny wears a trench coat instead of the standard G.I. uniform.
  • Church seems to crouch when he runs most of the time.
  • Like Duncan Keith, Church tells Walker what to do, despite being a lower ranking than Walker. Whereas Keith tells Doyle what to do despite being a lower ranking.
  • His age is unknown, but seeing how he acts, he is probably at least twenty-one and also probably younger than Lt. Walker.
  • As a Corporal Benny uses an M1 Garand, but after getting promoted to Sergeant he uses a Thompson.
