Sergeant Benson is a U.S. National Guard soldier who appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance.
Missions[]
Benson is deployed with along with Capt. Ramirez, Sgt. Franks, Sgt. Travis, and an unnamed soldier in Nevada. After they've been briefed by the Command, Russian soldiers appears behind the squad and kill the unnamed soldier at point blank range: the team mobilizes, but Benson, being very unlucky, is shot point blank as well. Oddly enough, Benson reappears later in the mission "Through the Mountains" as part of the Delta team with Mercer.

Trivia[]
- Interestingly, if the player does not move after the team has mobilized, Benson will stay alive and will engage the Russian troops. The player can try to wait for the Russians to cease their attack to keep Benson alive, but the Russians will respawn continuously until the player moves. Once the player has moved, Benson will die and the Russians will stop respawning.
