Call of Duty 2: Big Red One

Campaign

The Beretta 1938 can first be seen in the campaign level "Tankers" in the hands of Italian infantry. It then appears in the missions "Operation Husky" and "Piano Lupo" where it is available to the player. The Beretta 1938 is a fairly reliable and all-purpose weapon. Its low fire rate makes it fairly accurate at medium range, although its low rate of fire may let the player down in close-quarters.

Multiplayer

The Beretta 1938 is available on the Italian maps. the Beretta Model 38 is a fairly reliable weapon. It requires three to four shots to the body to kill at medium range, however its moderate recoil can be somewhat hindering especially at longer ranges. Despite this, it does have enough power to kill at longer ranges. At close ranges, the weapon's lower rate of fire will put it at a disadvantage when compared to other close quarters weapons, such as the American Thompson.
