Big Bird is the callsign for a CH-46 Sea Knight featured in the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare missions Crew Expendable and One Shot, One Kill.

One Shot, One Kill[]
A decade after the Chernobyl incident, a sniper team consisting of then Lieutenant Price and Capt. Macmillan are tasked to assassinate Imran Zakhaev. After what was dubbed a successful mission, Macmillan contacts Big Bird and gives the order to extract the two-man team from the town with the extraction point being the Pripyat fairground. During the mission, Big Bird and Alpha Team keep radio silence to avoid detection by the ultranationalists.
Crew Expendable[]
During the mission Crew Expendable, Big Bird extracts the SAS squad; callsign Bravo Team. After Price, Gaz and Soap find the nuclear device aboard the cargo ship, Price requests that Big Bird retrieves the device to prevent it from reaching its destination. However, upon Soap retrieving the manifest, 2 MiGs fire on the ship, and Big Bird attempts to contact Bravo Team in retaliation, but Price responds after getting himself and Soap to their feet. Price, Gaz and the SAS members then board Big Bird without issue, but Soap narrowly avoids slipping off of Big Bird's ramp as Price saves him at the last second.
Chronologically, after Crew Expendable, Big Bird does not make any further appearances.
