Private Blackburn was an American soldier of the 1st Infantry Division who fought and died in World War II under the command of Sgt. Hawkins.
Blackburn worked with Pvt. Saunders in the Invasion of Sicily as a bazooka team member, him being the wielder of the bazooka, and Saunders being the loader. The two were both killed by a single mortar round while fighting on the beaches. He also used an M1 Garand.
Trivia
- He is a reference to the Army Ranger of the same name from the movie "Black Hawk Down".
