Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare[edit | edit source]
- "Don't show on mini-map when using exo-movements."
- — In-game description.
Blast Suppressor makes its debut appearance in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare as a tier 3 perk. It is unlocked at level 2. The player won't show up on the mini-map using exo movements when using this perk, making it a good choice for stealth players.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III[edit | edit source]
- "No mini-map signature when thrust jumping. Thruster sound is suppressed."
- — Create-A-Class Description.
Blast Suppressor returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. As before, it removes the thrust indicator from the minimap, and also significantly reduces the sound when thrusting.
It is, as before, very useful for stealthy players, especially teamed with Dead Silence using the Perk 3 Greed Wildcard. It is also near-essential for players who like to "rush" the enemy spawn-point or objective by Thrust Jumping as the element of surprise is somewhat ruined by the minimap indicator.
Blast Suppressor does not remove the sound players make when sliding, and other players can still hear an audiable cue if you are power sliding right behind them.
