Private Boyle served in the 7th Armoured Division under the command of Captain Price, seeing action in Tunisia. He appears randomly throughout the campaign.

He, along with Sergeants Carver and John Davis and Private MacGregor, were in a jeep while arriving in Matmata and Boyle was complaining about if they were going to be there. Several seconds later, a German Army truck hits the jeep, killing Boyle in the process.
