The Buffel is a wheeled armoured troop carrier which doubles as an infantry fighting vehicle. Designed to be mine-resistant, they carry a squad of soldiers each.
Numerous South African army Buffels appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, manned by Jonas Savimbi and his UNITA troops. Alex Mason briefly attempts to rescue a dying militiaman from one after a mortar barrage.
