The Sequel of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was a canceled game serving as sequel to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and developed by Sledgehammer Games.
Several prototypes and a demo were created for the game, but after an executive decision the studio moved onto Call of Duty: WWII. Many developers were also interested to return to a World War II setting and they ultimately chose to abandon the Advanced Warfare sequel.[1][2]
