Call of Duty: Classic is a port of the original Call of Duty for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The game was originally released as part of the Hardened and Prestige editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, available through tokens containing a downloadable code. The game later became available as a standalone on the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Marketplace for US$19.99. The Xbox 360 version was originally considered an "Arcade game" and was able to be purchased for 1200 Microsoft Points, before the system was discontinued.
Following the shutdown of the Xbox 360 Marketplace on July 29th, 2024, Call of Duty: Classic became unavailable to purchase on Xbox 360 as the game was not made backward-compatible with the later Xbox consoles.[1]
