Slayback (Modern Warfare 2)
This is a very small article, and the character, while not randomly generated isn't significant. TheManOfIron 09:58, July 22, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose — CODwiki doesn't only keep articles for significant characters. Slayback has a definite appearance and is thus documented as such. The fact that he has two confirmed, consistent appearances is more than most minor characters. --Scottie theNerd 10:19, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
Oppose — Unless the Wiki plans on going through and deleting every single minor character, such as Barton, Arem, Lovejoy, West, Roycewicz, Wallcroft, Griffen, Keating, Massey and Volker, all of whom are less notable or just as notable as Slayback, I see no reason why this article should be deleted. List of weapons by map
I don't really see a point in this article - by the time it's finished for every single game it will be HUGE. I don't understand why it's necessary.
Support — As nominator. 11:26, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
Oppose — The point of this article is to provide a different organization of information. I started this page because I searched for such a list but didn't find one. The reason I wanted this info is that only some weapons are available to the give command for each map. When you use give all, you have to cycle through all weapons, which is very impractical. This list shows you which weapons are available, so you can pick the two weapons you want, rather than searching through the map for them.
If the article becomes too long, it could be split up into separate articles on a per-game basis.
If there isn't any other user who finds this remotely helpful, then go ahead and delete it.
Attys 16:32, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
Comment — We appreciate your help, but the list of weapons is truly unnecessary. If we included the MW2 weapons as well, the page would be massive. It's not necessary. 11:52, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

They provide minimal information on the games released on the platforms -- review sites do a far better job at discussing differences between version. Support — This is a Call of Duty website. Game console pages are irrealevant. File:Shotrocket6sig.png 18:03, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
Oppose — I believe that we should provide the pages with basic information on what games are featured for each, possibly as redirects to categories? The relevance is obvious, but whether it's our job to cover consoles or the multiplayer networks is debatable. Personally I think we should do as we've done with weapons, link to the Wikipedia article and contain all the relevant information, primarily the games supported/released. --Good editing! Oppose — I think there needs to be something on the wiki which clearly shows which games are on which consoles/platforms -File:Stbaksig.png 16:11, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

How about we just make categories such as "List of Call of Duty Games for the Wii" and delete the console pages?gamemasta424 Talk 16:34, October 3, 2010 (UTC) Neutral — On the one hand, I agree that this is what Wikipedia's for, but on the other hand, I also agree that they're of some slight importance. Sgt. S.S. 19:59, October 4, 2010 (UTC)
- In what way is an article about a console important to Call of Duty? --Scottie theNerd 22:15, October 4, 2010 (UTC)
Changing to Strong Oppose. Having read the Wii page, I can see how information on the consoles is useful and relevant to the Wiki. You see, Wikipedia is not a magical place where everything you can possibly need to know on a topic is listed - none of the information listed on the console pages will be listed on Wikipedia, which is what some people here are suggesting. I feel that the pages should stay. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 09:55, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
- None of the information will be listed on Wikipedia because most of the information isn't to do with the console, but with the games on the console (and until recently, it was mainly World at War). You won't find that information on any other console article. --Scottie theNerd 11:47, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

Capture of Alejandro Rojas
The article's subject is already covered here and here. Another article is redundant. Sgt. S.S. 13:58, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Support — Redundant article. The information is covered identically and more concisely in the other articles. --Scottie theNerd 15:24, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
Comment — What about articles like Invasion of Virginia? They are of the same type as this one, so why not take them out as well? 15:29, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
Comment — Well, the invasion of Virginia was a whole fictional battle in itself, so I'd say it's article-worthy. Capture of Alejandro Rojas, however, was just that - the capture of Alejandro Rojas. We've already had an article on the execution of Yasir Al-Fulani, and this article should be deleted on the same grounds as that. Sgt. S.S. 17:58, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
Support — Besides the fact that its useless, its not even accurate - claims that 13 Task Force 141 members were killed, but Royce, Meat and Driver equals three, not thirteen. However, I do agree with Sgt. S.S. about the invasion of Virginia. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 12:48, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
