Flammenwerfer_41 (history - links - logs)
I'm proposing to merge the F41 page with Flammenwerfer 35, for the main reason that it's actually modeled after a F35. Normally, by going with the naming/IRL policy, if it were actually named "Flammenwerfer 41" in-game, then we would surely keep them separate. However, it is not the case, because the weapon in United Offensive is simply referred to as "Flamethrower" in-game. In fact, the F41 page was actually titled "Flammenwerfer 35" previously, until someone pointed out that the game files refer it to as Flammenwerfer 41, which is the main reason why the page got renamed. However, game files names aren't always the best form of reference, seeing as some of them are inaccurate (for example, they refer the AN/PEQ-2 as PEQ-6, the MTAR as a TAR-21, the Chicom CQB/JS 9mm as a QCW-05, etc.)

Merge — However, go the other way. Put the Flammenwerfer 35 in the 41 page. Order of release. - SteveHeist (Signature didn't work...)
- I assume you mean in order to keep the original page history and then rename the final merged version to F35, right? I'm planning indeed to do that.

- I was more meaning like the STG-44 page, where the weapon returned as a different name (the MP-44) but it stayed the STG-44 because that was the earliest name for the weapon. SteveHeist (Signature didn't work...)
Merge — Considering that there is no in game name of the flamethrower in United Offensive I think the new article should be named just "Flamethrower" since that's the name used in WWII and maybe have sections for each game's rendition with the specific file name. -- Nanomat (talk) 19:20, July 4, 2017 (UTC)
Comments/Questions
I'm sort of on the fence reading though the description. I mean, if the game files call it 41 that feels like it would count as being called that by the game. But of course there are a good few other games where the game files don't mtch what the gun is in-game.
