M27_IAR (history - links - logs)
I think the M27 IAR article should be merged with the M27 article, the M27 and the M27 IAR are the same thing except for the mag.

Keep — Per G36C and MG36. In real life they are the same weapon, but in game they have different traits, and as such fall under the "If a weapon is named the same, looks the same, but functions in a drastically different way, split." clause.

Split/Merge
Merge — That example with G36 and the CARBINE variant is flawed because, duh, Carbine =/= AR. But the M27 and IAR are the same things. The IAR does not exist in H&K w/out the IAR part of its name. Also, the Blops2 M27 is not a carbine. <76trombones2 (talk) 23:01, September 14, 2013 (UTC)>
- That was the Carbine/Assault rifle version and the Light Machine Gun version. Also, Sam's quoting of one of our split policies make it very clear why this merge won't happen.
