Steyr_ACR (history - links - logs)

Completely unconfirmed. Plus, the picture of the soldier holding the 'Steyr ACR' is actually a Type 25.

Keep

Pictogram voting keep Keep — I've seen quite a few images and sites linking to it being confirmed. here and here promanantly.

07:29, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

The first link is just speculation, and the second is from an unofficial Youtube video. While it was me who first suggested that it may be a Steyr ACR (I think I was the first, anyway, cause beforehand everyone thought it was a KH2002), I do not work for 3arc and neither does anyone else who shares the view that it's a Steyr ACR. There is zero official evidence that it is a Steyr ACR. PLUS it most likely will not be called 'Steyr ACR' in-game if it does appear.
Sauce - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKJaAJPz6EU is the YT video that the image you linked came from. Note that it has nothing to do with 3arc. Executioner Menu Icon BOIIAugFC Talk Page 07:34, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
Since we can't call them "Unknown X" I think it's far better to house it on a speculative name, that most other people are using, then rename it later. 07:38, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
Still don't have any actual proof that it's a Steyr ACR. What's the harm in deleting the page until a confirmed name and some official screenshots emerge? At the minute we're going by a YT video and a few user's opinions as evidence. --Executioner Menu Icon BOIIAugFC Talk Page 07:40, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
We have the concept art, so we know a gun is confirmed, so deleting it now seems out of place. 07:43, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
I don't see the point in making a page with no information on and only one picture of a gun we don't even know the name of. And I still don't see why it's difficult to just wait until we get confirmation. The last thing I think any of us want is just more BOII speculation on this wiki. It's not very professional. --Executioner Menu Icon BOIIAugFC Talk Page 07:47, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
As long as we have some info it's our job to display it. And I'm certain most people come here for the BOII speculation. 07:49, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
My problem here is that there's a fair chance that the Steyr ACR may not appear in BOII. If that's the case, the wiki is going to look less professional and seem less reliable. Speculation should go elsewhere, like Talk:Call_of_Duty:_Black_Ops_II.
Of course, there's always the issue of 'what appears to one person to be X appears to another person to be Y'. In this case, the weapon depicted in that piece of concept art has been said to resemble a KH2002, a Pancor Jackhammer and a Steyr ACR. Given that the image is so blurry and there's a blatant lack of detail gone into the weapon, it could be anything. It may not even be a real gun. The title 'Steyr ACR' is misleading and down to interpretation alone. Therefore, there is no real reason to keep the page and I still don't see the harm in waiting for confirmation. It's not like the wiki will suffer in any way by deleting this one page, which, I should add, is a page with almost nothing in the way of valuable information. Pictogram voting keep Keep — Although this is subjected to change, with the info we have it is aleast some what better to keep this article, however, the naming of the article is some what lacking as most of it is on speculation, though I do stand by keeping it.132527029757.gifArgorrath おしゃべり%E7%95%B0%E8%AD%B0%E3%81%82%E3%82%8A.jpg11:13, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

"with the info we have it is aleast some what better to keep this article"
What evidence is that exactly? --Executioner Menu Icon BOIIAugFC Talk Page 15:58, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
The fact that it exist do to a link http://www.charlieintel.com/bo2-intel/bo2-weapon-list-2/ , showing that it does exist within the CoD universe.132527029757.gifArgorrath おしゃべり%E7%95%B0%E8%AD%B0%E3%81%82%E3%82%8A.jpg16:01, June 29, 2012 (UTC)~
Erm, a few issues here. First of all, Charlie Intel is unofficial. What goes on there is basically speculation. Just because Charlie Intel thinks X doesn't mean we should think X too. Secondly, they had the 'Steyr ACR' listed down as a KH2002 prior to a certain someone (me) noting that it resembled an ACR. I have reason to believe that they're going off what I noted out here, seeing as they had it listed down as a KH2002 and suddenly changed it to Steyr ACR literally about an day after that talk page post was made. --Executioner Menu Icon BOIIAugFC Talk Page 16:07, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
Although about how little, if per say it is speculation, with the unfortunate ban on "Unknown X" articles, it still provides a different weapon, at least shown in the CoD series. Although the info of it is short at said moments, my opinion is not changing as to why this article must be deleted as now.132527029757.gifArgorrath おしゃべり%E7%95%B0%E8%AD%B0%E3%81%82%E3%82%8A.jpg16:16, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

Pictogram voting keep Keep — due to the ban against "Unknown X" Articles, it would be better to keep it incase any future infomation is released via Treyarch or Trailers. Shadowking58 (talk) 15:39, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

In that case we could recreate it. --MLGisNot4Me talk 15:44, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

Pictogram voting keep Keep — Per the above points. Redskin-26 15:41, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
