I am Randomtime, chatmod here and super-cool guy. Smuff told me I should RFA. As an admin here I'll do practically nothing, so what's the harm? -- Random Time 21:38, May 17, 2012 (UTC)

To clarify, this is not a joke, it is a legitimate request for Adminship (but I won't be too annoyed if I don't get it)

Oppose — Throughout my expierence of working with RandomTime, he has shown upmost incompetence. It's with great sadness to say this, but I don't think he'd be able to use the tools such as block or delete without abuse, because he's never used a tool like that before. ~ty 21:55, May 17, 2012 (UTC)

Oppose — RandomTime is VSTF, so of course he would understand what is expected of Admins. He's also a chat mod here, so the community knows him somewhat. However, I almost never see him on the wiki and I rarely see him in chat. Maybe i'm just not on at the right time, but in my experience he is barely active on the wiki. Oppose — while Randomtime does have an impressive 33k in edits wikia wide and he is indeed VSTF. I need to look at the edits and commitment to our wiki. With only 120 edits on the COD wiki kinda makes me question the users intentions and as the user has stated "As an admin here I'll do practically nothing, so what's the harm?". He's not allowed to use them for normal use, just vandalism. People do these things for a reason, you know.

Yes, I'm not allowed to use my VSTF tools for normal administrative functions, only to clean up vandalism and spam. Generally the admins here have it covered. This RFA was a semi-serious test to see if myself, a (hopefully) trusted user - could run an RFA on the grounds that "I'll probably not do much anyway, so what's the harm". I doubted it would be accepted by the community, but I thought it'd be neat to see the response. As I thought - it was fairly negative, with a lot of people thinking it was a joke (partially my fault with the presentation).

Given that rationale, this RFA has probably failed - but hey - as I said, I'm not too fussed, the Call of Duty wiki is still a cool community, and I'm sorry you felt I was playing with you in some way (even though I kind of was) -- Random Time 17:02, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
