Hello fellow CoD Wikians. I, The Wikia Contributor am here to nominate my self for admin (sorry if that sounds a bit weird, I'm tired please bear with me). Although Pierogi also has an RfA up, I would like to take the time to request adminship. Although recently I have not been as active in editing because I have been busy, I feel that with these rights I could benefit the wiki plenty. Although I have not had the chance to edit in places I am normally in, COD:AFD, COD:ID and etc. I very often check up on these places. I have little over a year of experience in this wiki and about 11 months with Rollback and about 6 with Custodian. I am constantly on the CVN network of this wiki and as a result am very aware of what happens on this wiki. Also, there are also gaps in which I notice admins may not be active (Mostly European ones) in which I may fill the void. There would be no problem of me not knowing how to use the tools, as I am a bureaucrat at BNWiki, in which I became familiar with all the administrator rules as well as what it means to be a good and fair admin. With these tools I hope to complement the current Sysop team as well as better the wiki. Thank you for your time. Erm, don't know how to re-do this support, but: Seeing the nomination and the reasoning, I can see that twc would greatly benefit this wiki. He's a very sociable user and works hard with what he does. Like most users, he's a valuable member of the community and with such a large wiki, many admins are needed. I feel that if he were given sysop rights, he wouldn't let the wiki down. Oh, and the above was just a joke, was gonna actually fill out a proper support. Jazzi 05:02, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

I don't see you edit enough to prove this. While you're proving this at the moment, I kind of want to see a good behavior in all parts of the wiki.

Seeing twc's attitude in the IRC and on here, I can see that it's as if they're two different people. TWC comes off as very fun loving in the IRC, but he's quite business focused, while still helpful, on the wiki from what I've seen so far. Currently just scoping out his edits. Such as? If anything it's quite the opposite. If you see in my talk page (although not of recent) I have always helped those who come in search of my help, most being new users that needed something done, I would even ise my custodian rights to help others. I was referring more specifically to your behavior both on IRC and Chat; I remember you bullying me on the rare occasions that I joined IRC. I'm not really fond of your tendency to drop into Chat to do nothing but start/join in on an argument. I agree with DM in that if you cannot properly behave on those relays than you should not be granted tools which are reserved for those who can. Joe Copp 05:08, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

Oppose — Your attitude kinda offsets me, or at least used to, and I don't see you needing the tools. It would also make it a little better if you decided to wait until you're fully awaken and then put up a better nomination. Oppose — Sadly I find myself agreeing with the guys here. I know that TWC has the qualities to become an admin one day, but right now it isn't the right time. In a way I feel that the opening paragraph was weak and has led to many of the criticisms which TWC is now faced with.

Firstly, you state yourself that you have been busy and away. We're looking for someone to be here and doing things right now. We haven't let other applicants off in the past, so there'll be no exceptions this time. Its a bad time to apply, and it usually kills most people's chances.

Secondly, there's the issue brought up about the split personalities between IRC and Wiki. I'd like to say that IRC is generally more casual and chilled out, so people acting different is common. However, while not being on the end or being offended of anything said by TWC himself, I have to some degree seen what other users are talking about. Whether I deem what was said to be offending or not is irrelevant to the fact that someone did. I've been in this situation before and its not nice. Its also something not expected from admins or people looking to become admins.

I believe that this second issue is something that can be fixed fairly easily. However, it does call into question TWC's judgement on how other people will take certain comments and therefore what is appropriate and at what times and to what degree.

Thirdly, in his introducing statement, TWC brings other applicants into the mix. Its important that applicants focus only on themselves and their good qualities rather than even mentioning other applicants, even if nothing negative is said. This is one factor that contributed to what I believe is a poor opening statement. Its purpose it to convince the community that they are right for the tools. I am sorry to say it did not do so, at least not for me.

In short, what we have here is a capable user which plenty of good qualities. However, the application is mistimed and poor. There are also other issues which hinder the community in awarding tools.

Personal note: These issues are entirely fixable and won't take long to sort out either. Keep up the work and improve in the areas highlighted and soon you'll be back in line for the tools.
