Cash is the primary form of currency utilized in Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Plunder and Battle Royale modes, in Call of Duty: Vanguard's Champion Hill and Arms Race modes and in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Knockout mode. It makes a return in Call of Duty: Mobile.
Call of Duty: Warzone, Warzone 2.0, Warzone Mobile[]
Cash makes its first appearance in Warzone as ground loot in its Battle Royale modes. They can be used to purchase items at Buy Stations such as Spy Planes, Loadout Drops and Armor Boxes.
Players can gain cash by killing enemies, opening loot caches, completing contracts, and destroying the Armored Transport Truck. Players also gain a substantial amount more money in Warzone's Plunder mode due to the mode being about finding and extracting cash around the map.

Call of Duty: Vanguard[]
Cash returns in Vanguard as ground loot in Arms Race and Champion Hill. In Champion Hill, players killed will drop cash allowing another player to pick it up to buy items at Buy Stations and upgrade their weapons.
During Season Two Reloaded, cash appeared in the Arms Race mode acting similarly to Champion Hill.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II[]
Cash appears in Modern Warfare II as the main form of currency in the Knockout Multiplayer game mode. It can also be used to purchase items from buy stations in the spec ops missions and Defender: Mt. Zaya.
Call of Duty: Mobile[]
Cash appears in Call of Duty: Mobile. It was added in Season 5 2025 - Primal Reckoning. It shares the same function as its previous iterations.
