Chompy is a utility featured in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies maps, Ashes of the Damned, Vandorn Farm, Astra Malorum and Exit 115. It is a small garbage that when melee'd, allows players to "recycle" their weapons or equipment into Salvage and occasionally other rewards like Equipment or even a Ray Gun. The inside of Chompy has the appearance of a black hole.
In Ashes of the Damned, Chompy is not always available, and when dormant hitting it will have no effect. When ready to be activated, Chompy's lid will bounce occasionally and a purple smoke will puff out of it. In Survival maps, Chompy is always active unless it is a Special Round or players are Exfilling.
