2022 Season 7: New Vision City[]
Alias is shown to be working on an unfinished Reaper in a Robotics lab, until she's greeted by Ether. She is startled by her sudden arrival, but Ether reassures her that it's an informal visit and she needs her help with something, Alias agrees.
Ether asks for her honest opinion regarding Division A; Alias then comments about how the "Iron Will" they've built is impressive yet intimidating at the same time. She also used their AI to help her on her Reaper program, which cut a year of her schedule, which she finds almost scary. Alias also notes that a good friend of hers, whom she was flat mates with, transferred to Division A last year; within a week he was transferred to the on-site dormitory with another Division A coder. He has not spoken to her since, and she feels that Division A is like cult, which is why she didn't accept a position there.
Ether says that Alias will need to change her mind, as she suspects Division A has hidden agendas, and she needs to know what that is and sends her to spy on them.
Cat & Mouse Radio Drama[]
- "Only left to do now is find out who's left to take up the fight. I can't let Atlas Corporation get away with this. The world has got to know"
- — Alias in Cat & Mouse Audio Log
Alias and Spectre team-up and have mission to find and Disable Orbital Rangefinders at 3 different locations which are used by 'Rogue Element' of UAC to destroy Atlas Skycarrier using Orbital Strike. Before the mission starts, Alias is planned to use her non-lethal prototype to not kill the target because Alias thinks that "They are in shooting war with the good guys", But Spectre states that "There are no good guys but only someone who stands with Atlas Corporation and won't accept the reality".
During the misson, Spectre gives Alias a chance to disable the orbital rangefinders, but Alias doesn't like Spectre's actions for killing the surrendered UAC Soldier but Spectre says that his directive is no prisoner after killing the surrendered UAC soldier. When Alias makes her way to continue the mission, she comes to a wounded UAC Soldier and helps him. But then, Spectre kills him, which made Alias angry for Spectre's every action of killing people. Spectre is trying to kill Alias but failed because the crashing helicopter suddenly falls onto his position.
After the mission, Alias stays in somewhere in Corsica for a bit to let the things die down and hope that Atlas Corporation won't hunt her and thinks that Alias is dead. But Alias needs to find who's left to pick up a fight and doesn't let Atlas Corporation get away for what they've done.
The Rubicon Initiative, Part 1[]
Ether realizes the UAC isn't going to stop until they have Foxtrot and Cipher in custody, with the Director noting that the board is too assured in their invulnerability to allow this to happen, so she decides to contact the board to prevent things from spiraling out of control. But before Ether can contact the board, the Director shoots the phone, stating that her loyalty to the board is commendable, but obsolete. He also informs her that he knows Ether sent Alias to infiltrate Division A, so he is aware of her doubts about the course of action the board has taken. He further states that humanity can no longer afford men like those who would consume the world to fatten themselves, leaving nothing behind but ash, and the board had to be removed.
The Atlas Ascension Part 2[]
Alias is hiding out in the ruins of Las Vegas, with Ether and Deadman. She recounts her past; during her high school days, major casinos announced that they were pulling out, which made the guys in her school very upset. She also feels like the world is like in one big, long and drawn out retreat. Suddenly, a loud bang interrupts her—revealing to have came from Deadman letting loose with his arm-mounted gun. He tells Alias he’s having a little target practice, she responds by telling him to save his ammo as they are low on supplies.
During this time, Alias also sees a news report on Cipher having apparently escaped custody again, injuring 4 people. Meanwhile, Deadman points out that their water condensers are busted, with Alias believing the Marshal to be responsible. Deadman confirms this as he says that there are the Marshal’s boot prints all over it, noting that he has kept shooting down their supply drones and now he’s targeting their water condensers. He says that he is going to check on the others, before hanging up, Alias tells him to stay safe and come back in one piece.
Ether comes in and notes that the former UAC members who were present during the New Vision City incident, there are 3 who have fallen off the map, including Alex Keller. She believes that the Marshall is behind this, and also knows that he and his posse have accepted a contract from Atlas to patrol their 'exclusion' zone. Alias asks what she is getting at, and Ether tells her that Atlas has figured out where they have ran off to, and are thus no longer safe.
As Alias is sleeping, she is woken up by Deadman who tells her that they have a problem. She heads outside to see what it is, and find the Marshal outside their apartment announcing through a loudhailer that he's going to make an offer, and if they refuse, he will "firebomb the whole kit n'kaboodle". Alias decides to go outside to see what it's about, but Deadman advises her that it's a bad idea as the Marshal will firebomb them regardless. Alias says she knows this, and that she's going outside to distract the Marshal, to buy Deadman and Ether time to think of a way to get out of their mess.
She goes outside to meet with the Marshal, calling him "Chunkzilla". The Marshal tells her that Atlas has offered him a "pretty penny" for her head, with a hefty bonus if they bring her in alive. However, the Marshal suddenly pulls a gun on her, saying that "accidents do happen", to Alias' shock. But before she can be shot, Ether shoots the Marshal's gun out of his hand, and a firefight erupts. Alias quickly hops into the Antelope A20 that Deadman is driving, while being pursued by the Marshal and his posse in a tank. During the firefight, Ether is injured by gunfire, so Alias takes over the driving. Deadman makes her drive directly to the Marshal and he leaps to attack them. Even though the Marshal attempts to repel him with his spiked wooden club, Deadman breaks the club and knocks him out with a punch.
As the Marshal and his posse are apprehended, Alias discusses their next course of action with Deadman and Ether, suggesting they head east as she has some friends there who can help. Just then, Ether tells them they will be going to Chicago, having received a message from Cipher in Illinois.
The Atlas Ascension Part 3[]
Alias soon arrives in Chicago with Ether and Deadman, with the latter commenting about wherever they go, they see Atlas' signs hanging around. Ether tells them that this is by design; Atlas had been undermining government institutions for decades, making everyone more and more dependent on their services--and now with them gone, there's nothing to left to fill the gap, which is also by design, so as to make people run back to them. Alias then tells them that they’re there.
They arrive at The Club, and Alias wonders why Cipher decided to meet them there, as she thinks he is taking a huge risk by being in a public place like that, and Ether tells her that the Club is the one place a man like him could show his face without fear, as it is neutral territory for the world’s elite warriors, assassins, spies and the like. Cipher greets them, and Ether tells him to spill the intel that he has for them. Cipher informs them that since the UAC disbanded after the attack on New Vision City, Atlas has realized who it's enemies are and have sent their worst and deadliest to take them out, including Ether and Alias herself.
Alias tells Cipher to tell them something they don't know, as she has been trying to pull together what remains of the UAC, all those who were in New Vision City that day, but she can't find them as they have either gone dark or underground. In addition, she also knows who is hunting them. Cipher then sends them a log of field performance data for Spectre's armor--on the night of the attack on New Vision City, Spectre took multiple shots from a high-caliber weapon, including a direct shot to the head, yet all it did was slow it down; unless they use this data to figure out a way to take down Spectre, they won't have a hope in hell.
Deadman asks who Spectre is, and Alias tells him about Spectre, while Ether remains doubtful of Cipher's trustworthiness, as she doesn't know whether or not he's using this information to get closer to her, and she believes Cipher still has beef with her. Cipher confirms that he still does, but reminds her that Division A is the one controlling Atlas now, and none of them are while Division A is in charge.
Just then, one of the clubgoers introduces Nyx as their "house band". They realize they've been set up, so they quickly leave, although Alias is still trying to figure out what's going on. Ether tells them Nyx is a high-level operative for Atlas--meaning they've been made, or they're about to be. Just then, Ether is nearly attacked by Spectre, but is stopped by Cipher, who can see through his camouflage. Spectre knocks Cipher aside and prepares for battle. Deadman takes Cipher's glasses, to his chagrin, and prepares to fight Spectre.
The Atlas Ascension Part 4[]
As Deadman fights Spectre, Alias looks on, but she cannot see Spectre due to his Poltergeist camouflage being active. Just as Spectre is about to finish off Deadman after tearing out his cybernetic arm, Alias uses her 'non-lethal prototype' weapon on Spectre, disorienting him. However, her weapon splutters out just seconds after it's used, to Alias' chagrin. Spectre vows to peel the flesh from her bones, but is thrown against the wall by a garbage bin before he can recover. Alias flees with Ether, Cipher and Deadman, who retrieves his arm before fleeing with them.
As they are escaping, they head in the opposite direction of where their car was parked, which causes Deadman concern. Ether reminds them that their priority is to put as much distance between them and Spectre as much they can. Shadowfall soon arrives, pulling up in her vehicle and telling them to get in.
The Atlas Ascension Part 5[]
Alias soon arrives in Detroit, where a mass protest is taking place in front of the Atlas Corporation's corporate building. She is dropped off with Ether and Deadman, while Cipher chooses to stay behind in the vehicle with Shadowfall. The trio navigate their way through the crowd to meet with Rampage. Soon, they arrive at an office, and Rampage notes they picked a hell of a day to visit as things are getting crazy out there, which Alias agrees with. Rampage introduces her to Foxtrot, who is with them, and was the one who insisted that they meet after she learned of what Alias was doing, which was tracking down the former UAC who were at New Vision City.
Alias tells Foxtrot that she had seen her testimony before the UN, noting it was powerful stuff, and she replies that she's glad she found the hardest moment of her life fascinating, which Alias quickly apologizes for, but Foxtrot tells her not to worry about it. Alias then lays out the information she has for them: ever since the UN disbanded the UAC, the members were scattered to the four winds, with the former members who took part in the Attack on New Vision City disappearing; she believes some are in hiding, while noting that others, like herself and other UAC members running around, are being hunted by Atlas' deadliest assassin, Spectre.
Alias later tells them about the Iron Will, Atlas Corporation's Artificial Intelligence, and she managed to do some digging while in Atlas; one of the AI's primary tasks was to shape public opinions using a host of dummy social media accounts--apparently so sophisticated that it was impossible for anyone but the most well-trained machine programmers to tell that it isn't a living, breathing, flesh-and-blood human on the other end; it is the most advanced Artificial Intelligence that has ever existed, and it knows precisely what buttons to push to get people to do what it wants--what Atlas wants. But before Alias can continue, she is interrupted by David "Section" Mason reporting in, having his eyes on what appears to be an ops team among the protest.
Later, the 'ops team' is revealed to have comprised Alex Keller, who deploy smoke grenades and causing the protest to turn violent. Luckily, they were saved by Shadowfall.
The Atlas Ascension Part 7[]
Some time afterwards, Alias has her group meet up with Frank Woods, while also introducing Shadowfall to Rampage. She tells the group that Woods is about to serve them food. Later, as Woods briefs the group about the situation revolving around Atlas, Alias reminds them that they are not just fighting Atlas, but the Iron Will as well; but without a better understanding of its capabilities, there's little they can do to counter it, meaning they have to find someone who knows more about the AI than them. Ether believes they're referring to the Director's former colleague, Dr. Mendelsohn, but Cipher then appears, much to Rampage's chagrin, but Woods informs them that they are in dire circumstances, which means they need to make tough choices; they also require Cipher's tracking skills.
During this, Alias notices Deadman sitting alone outside, and goes to check on him. Deadman tells her that he needed to step away for a moment to get some fresh air. She notes that he looks like hell, and asks about what's going on, wondering if it's more than just losing his arm. Deadman reveals he has been hurting all the while since the accident, and while he can keep a lid on it most of the time, there are days where it's worse. Alias tells him he should've said something sooner, as she is a cybernetics expert and she can do something about it, which Deadman is grateful for.
Alias then turns her attention to her newly christened 'Phantom Corps' members, noting they are going up against the biggest corporation in human history, run by the most advanced artificial intelligence in human history, while lamenting there're only 9 of them and she trusts that 'Uncle Frank' has a good plan on what to do, but they are going to need a miracle.
Later that night, Alias asks how Ether and Woods are getting along; Woods says it's great, as it's good to work with someone with as much operation experience, with Ether sharing the same sentiment. Alias is happy at this, but expresses concern about Deadman; she notes that when she ran into Deadman, he had been living in the Vegas ruins for years, all of his cybernetics are banged up, broken or corroded; unless they get him complete top to bottom overhaul, Deadman's implants will kill him.
The Atlas Ascension Part 9[]
In Manitoba, Canada, Alias and Section infiltrate a snowy forest and stumble upon a house. After Section notes that there are no signs of security or defenses, and decide to proceed, Alias cautions him that they have a lot of ground to cover and to be careful. But before she can finish, a troop of Reapers spring out from the ground, and the duo are forced to defend themselves. However, they are quickly disarmed, and as more Reapers surround them, a voice speaks from one of the Reapers, who is revealed to be Dr. Mendelsohn. Alias tells her that they are there to ask for her help, and Dr. Mendelsohn invites them inside, while noting that she had read Alias' work on machine intelligence.
Later, Alias informs Dr. Mendelsohn that the Director is turning the Iron Will against them, and that she needs to know how it thinks and how it predicts, and if she does, she could find a way to counter it or even shut it off. But Dr. Mendelsohn reminds her that there is no way to shut off the Iron Will, as the Director had given the AI control over its "off-switch", something that Dr. Mendelsohn cautioned him against, but he fired her. She mentions that the Iron Will is currently contained, but if the Director were to release it onto the global net, the result would be catastrophic.
Dr. Mendelsohn explains that if Alias had access to it, she could find holes in its predictive model and find a way to evade its notice, but there are only 2 places where she can gain access to the Iron Will, the first being in New Vision City, but she is hesitant to tell them about the second one. Alias pleads with Dr. Mendelsohn, saying they have only one chance at stopping the Iron Will and the AI would be unstoppable of the Director releases it. Section brings up the 'other place they could patch in', so Dr. Mendelsohn tells them about a place called Memnos on the Aegean Island, where a hidden lab of Atlas Corporation operates, which leads Section to understand why she was reluctant to tell them, as island assaults are never easy--unless they are invited, as Dr. Mendelsohn puts it.
Alias perks up at the possibility of being able to stop the Iron Will, but Dr. Mendelsohn reminds her that it's a slim one, and tells her not to get her hopes up; Atlas hosts a gathering on Memnos every year, for the world's most powerful, comprising Presidents, CEO's, dictators and Popes, all there to kiss Atlas' ring. Dr. Mendelsohn reveals that the Director had sent her invitations to the gathering every year, but had always turned it down, and decides she will finally go this time.
The Atlas Ascension Part 10[]
Alias is seen on board a ship together with Woods and Cipher, who are monitoring Ether, David Mason and Dr. Mendelsohn. The trio are attending the summit on Memnos Island, and as a security guard verifies their identities, Alias along with Woods and Cipher watch and wait in anticipation, until the guard finally clears Dr. Mendelsohn and her 'security detail' for entry.
Following the infiltration into the Iron Will's access point in the castle, Alias is seen monitoring Dr. Mendelsohn's group's status, and Ether reports that Kestrel has betrayed them and injured their inside contact, and are attempting to escape. Mason delays their pursuer Lazarus long enough for them to escape.
The Iron Age Part 4[]
Alias is present when the Phantom Corps house is attacked by hostile forces. Woods orders the team to escape through the backyard woods, to reach his neighbor about a hundred yards away. However, during the escape, a helicopter blares its lights at them, forcing them to seek cover. As it lands, Alias hides behind a tree, becoming anxious; Wicht Warden spots her after disembarking from the helicopter, and opens fire on her. Alias attempts to return fire, but is shot in the leg.
