Classic is gametype featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
In Classic mode for Barebones matches, players can play Team Deathmatch using any Perks as well as having any Contracts active that he or she may have purchased. Attachments and Equipment are unusable. Killstreaks are set up similar to the "classic" streaks of 3, 5, and 7 from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: World at War, with the third killstreak being the Spy Plane, the fifth being Napalm Strike, and the seventh being the Attack Helicopter. This game mode is recommended for players who do not want to be killed by the Grenade Launcher or Flamethrower attachments, or worry about stray enemy Claymores while retaining the usage of Perks.
