The Cleaver is a melee weapon featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It also makes a brief appearance in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare[]
The Cleaver appears in the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies map Attack of the Radioactive Thing. It is an one-hit-kill melee weapon until round 8. The Cleaver can be found inside the Sonova Beachside Market stuck in a dead shark. The player must simply interact with it in order to acquire it. The Cleaver is required for completing the map's main easter egg, gaining access to the Pack-a-Punch and acquiring the Alien Fuses.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare[]
The Cleaver returns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as a Legendary Blueprint for the Combat Knife. It could be obtained in Warzone with the Haunting of Verdansk event by opening supply boxes at the Zordaya Prison Complex.

Overview[]
Campaign[]
The Cleaver appears in the campaign mission Most Wanted. If the player picks the "Mystery Man" option, they can briefly use a Cleaver against one of Senator McKenna's security guards.
Multiplayer[]
The Cleaver was added during Season One Reloaded as part of the Netflix Squid Game 2 event as the final reward of the free track. After the event, it was added to the Armory, where it can be unlocked after earning a total of 250,000 XP with the weapon selected.
Zombies[]
The Cleaver has no Wall Buy locations, however it can be found in any map and in the majority of rarities via the Mystery Box for 950 Essence or one can be brought as the dedicated melee weapon via the Loadout system, but at Common rarity. The Cleaver itself is a 225 damage melee weapon with each rarity increasing the damage output by 50%.
When upgraded either by the Pack-a-Punch Machine or via Aetherium Crystals, it becomes the Baleful Butcher, gaining increased damage.
