Combat Pacing is a feature available on Call of Duty: Vanguard. It allows the player to change the way they want to play by choosing the pacing before the match starts.

On May 16th, 2022, the Combat Pacings were modified and the Assault Pacing was removed from the game. The Assault Pacing was only chose by 5% of the players.[1]

Types

The pacings are Tactical, Assault and Blitz.

Tactical

Tactical pacing is the base pacing in which most maps and modes support to max 6 players per team.

Originally, on smaller maps such as Shipment, it supported 4v4.

Assault

Blitz

Blitz pacing is the fastest pacing in the game supporting between 10 and 14 players per team. Maps such as Shipment, Das Haus and Mayhem support 7v7 and 10v10.
