Combat Scout was added to Call of Duty: Warzone as part of the Season Five update of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

It is a Tier 3 Perk that allows when damaging an enemy, the enemy gets highlighted in orange and can be seen by the player and their squad, even through walls and obstructions. Cold-Blooded will provide full immunity to Combat Scout. If a player using Combat Scout shoots an enemy using Cold-Blooded, that player will see "Target resistant to marking" on their HUD.

Combat Scout returns in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. It was added as part of the Season One update of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. It is functions like its predecessor.

Following the Season One update of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Combat Scout was removed from Warzone 2.0.
